Privacy Policy

Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, account login details if you create an account, and any message you send us (for example through the contact form). Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically: IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, and the date and time of your visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 3).

Information from third parties: our advertising and analytics providers may give us aggregated or limited information about how visitors interact with our ads and Site.

• To process and ship orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, and provide customer support.
• To process returns and refunds.
• To send marketing emails and text messages if you opt in (see “Email and Text Messages” below).
• To analyze Site usage and improve our Site, products, and advertising.
• To show you relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Google, and to measure how well our ads perform.
• For fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.

Email and Text Messages: If you sign up, we may send you marketing emails and text messages about deals and new products. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link in any email, and you can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. We will not sell or share your phone number or text-messaging opt-in with third parties for their own marketing. We will still send order and shipping messages related to your purchases.

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, understand Site traffic, and measure and personalize advertising. The tools we use include:

• Google Analytics and Google tracking pixels (including Google Ads and Google Merchant Center tools) to measure traffic, ad performance, and product listings.
• Facebook / Meta advertising tools, which may include the Meta Pixel, to measure ads and show ads to people who have visited our Site.
• Stripe for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.

These providers may collect information about your visits to our Site and to other websites over time and may use it under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalization in your Google Ads Settings and your Facebook/Instagram Ad Preferences. Blocking cookies may limit some Site features.

Do Not Track: Our Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. Third-party advertising and analytics providers may collect information about your online activity over time and across websites when you visit our Site.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state laws treat sharing data with advertising partners for targeted ads as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. To the extent that applies to our use of the advertising tools described above, you can opt out as described in section 7. We share personal information only with:

• Service providers: payment processing (Stripe), website hosting and security (WordPress.com), email and text-message delivery, and shipping carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS) who need your name, address, and contact details to deliver your order.
• Advertising and analytics partners: Google and Meta, as described in section 3.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• With your consent: for any other purpose you approve.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and payments are handled by Stripe. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

We keep order and payment records for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, and other information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information (see section 7), subject to legal exceptions.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct, or delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing or sale of your information, and to not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.

How to make a request: email support@lakecountydeals.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us what you would like (access, deletion, correction, or opt-out). We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 45 days. You can also use the Ad Preferences and Ads Settings tools in Facebook, Instagram, and Google, the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and reply STOP to any marketing text.

The Site is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

Our Site is intended for users in the United States and we do not ship internationally. If you access it from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on the Site with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
